EduCore is a school management platform published by Balisha Technologies. It lets schools, students, parents and ministry departments manage school administration, online exams, finances and academic tracking, designed to keep working even with an unstable connection.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use EduCore, we may collect:
— Identification and contact information for schools, staff, students and their parents or guardians (name, contact details, class, role);
— Academic and administrative data entered by the school (attendance, grades, report cards, enrollments);
— Payment data related to school fees and subscriptions (Mobile Money provider, amount, transaction status — never payment PINs or credentials);
— Technical connection data (IP address, device type, activity logs) needed for security and to keep the service running properly.
3. How we use this data
This data is used exclusively to:
— Provide and maintain the service on behalf of the relevant school;
— Process tuition and subscription payments;
— Generate aggregated, anonymized statistics for the ministry (no individual student data is ever transmitted);
— Keep the platform secure and prevent unauthorized access;
— Communicate with users about their account or request.
4. Data sharing
A school's data stays isolated and is only accessible to that school. EduCore never sells or rents data to third parties. Only aggregated, anonymized statistics may be shared with the relevant ministry, through the dedicated ministry module.
5. Security and retention
Passwords are encrypted and data access is limited to authorized users of each school. Data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
6. Your rights
Anyone whose data is processed by EduCore can request access, correction or deletion of that data, by contacting their school or the EduCore team directly using the details below.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in applicable regulations. The last update date appears at the top of this page.
