1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the EduCore platform, published by Balisha Technologies, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Description of the service
EduCore is a school management platform covering administration, online exams, finance (including Mobile Money payments) and, for relevant institutions, a ministry tracking module. The service is designed to keep working under unstable connectivity (offline mode with deferred sync).
3. Accounts and responsibilities
Each school is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters into EduCore and for keeping its users' login credentials confidential. Any activity performed from an account is presumed to be performed by its holder.
4. Subscription and payment
Access to EduCore requires a subscription, priced according to school size and chosen plan. Non-payment may result in suspension of access to the relevant features, without deleting data already recorded.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
— Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes;
— Attempt to bypass security measures or access data outside your school;
— Disrupt the service for other users.
6. Intellectual property
The EduCore platform, its code, design and brand belong to Balisha Technologies. Each school retains ownership of the data it enters and may request an export of it.
7. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the service continuously available, without being able to guarantee zero interruption, particularly in case of connectivity issues beyond our control. Balisha Technologies cannot be held liable for indirect consequences of a temporary service outage.
8. Termination
A school may request closure of its account at any time. Balisha Technologies reserves the right to suspend an account in case of a clear violation of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable in the country where the user's school is located, unless otherwise agreed with Balisha Technologies.
